Jorge De La Rosa, who twice limped off the field last week in a loss to the Dodgers in Los Angeles, on Monday was scratched from his next start with tendinitis in his right Achilles tendon.
The Rockies will replace the left-hander with righty Christian Bergman on Wednesday, in a game at Coors Field against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
De La Rosa allowed just two runs in eight innings against the Dodgers last Wednesday. He allowed only a solo home run to A.J. Ellis in the second inning and an RBI single to Corey Seager in the sixth.
