Major League Baseball announced on Sunday that Colorado Rockies catcher Hunter Goodman will be representing the Rockies at the 2025 All-Star Game in Atlanta, Georgia, on Tuesday, July 16. He was selected as the result of player balloting.
Now in his third year with the Rockies and his first year as a full-time catcher, this will be Goodman’s first trip to the MId-summer Classic.
“It was awesome moment,” Goodman said of learning he had been selected. “It’s a blessing. I can’t thank everybody around me enough for helping me get there.”
For a Rockies team struggling through a difficult season, Goodman’s selection came as some much-needed good news.
