On a typical summer day, Jenny Cavnar makes the rounds in the Rockies clubhouse, asking players questions and meticulously filling out her notebook.
In the male-dominated, pregame media gaggle in the dugout, she’s perfectly at ease, frequently asking manager Bud Black some of the day’s most pointed questions. It all seems to come so naturally to Cavnar.
“My dad, it comes from my dad,” said Cavnar, a studio host and sideline reporter for AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain. “When I’m asking Buddy a question, from a managing-the-game standpoint, I almost feel like I’m asking my dad questions.
