Fallout from the Houston Astros cheating scandal is sure to last all season around MLB

Houston Astros might want to buckle up for a long season after the cheating scandal came to light back in the fall of 2019 after former pitcher Mike Fiers revealed the Astros’ cheating methods in his interview with The Athletic.

Since then a number of things have changed around MLB. Commissioner Rob Manfred imposed penalties and fines on the Astros organization and suspended both general manager Jeff Luhnow and manager A.J. Hinch for the 2020 season. Both have since been fired by the team.
