MIAMI — As expected, the Rockies will activate left fielder Corey Dickerson and right-handed reliever LaTroy Hawkins from the disabled list and both will be available for Thursday night's game as the Rockies open a four-game road series against the Miami Marlins.
To make room on the 25-man roster, the Rockies will option right-handed reliever Christian Bergman and outfielder/first baseman Kyle Parker to Triple-A Albuquerque.
Dickerson, who went on the disabled list May 18 when the plantar fasciitis in his left foot flared up to the point that he couldn't play. After some rest, he played two extended spring games in Arizona.
