Comcast viewing of World Series freezes, goes dark for some Denver fans

Baseball fans cried foul Wednesday night in the Denver area when cable viewing of the seventh game of the World Series froze, frustrating some viewers and keeping them in the dark.

Fans shared frustrations on Twitter using #comcastoutage and #worldseries among other hashtags.

One fan described the outage as “intolerable”; another said “@comcast can pound sand.”

Vanessa Clark, @VanessaClark1, wrote: “Really? @comcast @XFINITY it’s cool, I didn’t want to watch game 7 of the World Series. #WorldSeries #comcastoutage” while posting a photo of a big screen television with a dark, frozen screen.

Clark later reported on Twitter that she got the game back four innings later.
