The Cubs (16-15) made the early morning flight to Denver on Monday morning being swept in a three-game series against the New York Yankees at Wrigley Field. With ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball televising the series finale that lasted 18 innings and finished at 12:16 a.m. (Mountain time), the Cubs arrived in the Mile High City around the same time as the sun appeared.
