Colorado Rockies Unveil Roster Moves Prior to Wednesday’s Game

On Wednesday afternoon, the Rockies placed Wolters on the seven-day concussion disabled list and selected the contract of veteran catcher Ryan Hanigan, who was working as one of the catchers at Triple-A Albuquerque.

The 36-year-old Hanigan was signed to a minor league contract by the Rockies on March 28 after being released by the Philadelphia Phillies the previous day. While in Triple-A, Hanigan was productive, batting .282 in 13 games. Additionally, he totaled nine runs, three doubles and six RBI while logging six walks and 12 strikeouts.
