Colorado Rockies: Three Asheville Prospects Win Awards

Mundell is leading the South Atlantic League in hits (164), extra base hits (72, including a Minor League Baseball record 57 doubles), total bases (265) and runs scored (90) in 129 games. He ranks second in batting average (.320) and is tied for first in runs batted in (80), with a .991 fielding percentage at first base.

Mundell is the first Asheville Tourists player to be named the League MVP since Rosell Herrera won the award in 2013.

Rodgers, who just turned 20 last week, has a .282 batting average with 19 home runs, 73 runs batted in, and 31 doubles in 109 games this year.
