Colorado Rockies-San Diego Padres: Weather updates from Coors Field

A rain-snow mix has been falling all day in Denver and the surrounding area. It’s the second day that weather has impacted the meeting between the two National League West rivals.

Rain started falling on Monday night just before first pitch with a quick downpour that lasted no more than a minute. However, the rain returned with a vengenance in the bottom of the second and really began falling hard in the top of the third.

Fans in the Rockpile and upper decks of Coors Field were evacuated because of lightning in the area shortly after the game began.
