PHOENIX — Rockies fans already looking ahead to next season got some help Wednesday morning with the release of the 2017 schedule.
The Rockies will open the season with a four-game series on the road against the Milwaukee Brewers from April 3 to 6. Colorado will play its home opener at Coors Field against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday, April 7 at 2:10 p.m.
The Rockies open the season with 14 straight games before their first off day.
In interleague play the Rockies will play all five teams from the American League Central, and they’ll also host the Seattle Mariners of the AL West for a two-game set beginning May 29, which is Memorial Day.
