While he may be the most talented pitcher in the Rockies system, Riley Pint might also be the most enigmatic. Armed with an electric fastball that reaches triple digits with movement and a great curve ball, Pint has failed to produce the strikeout numbers one might expect in professional baseball. However, this might be more a result of developmental goals for him than anything else. The Rockies are working with him to be more consistent with his delivery which will hopefully bring more consistency to his command as well. If Pint can’t start to command his pitches better, the results might start to follow.
