Colorado Rockies prospect Brendan Rodgers (almost) does it all for the Hartford Yard Goats

Third baseman Brendan Rodgers (no. 1 PuRP) almost did it all for the Hartford Yard Goats on Sunday. Rodgers went 5-for-5 at the plate, hitting a double and a home run resulting in three RBI and nine total bases en route to a Yard Goats 11-9 victory over the Harrisburg Senators. Rodgers is now batting .300 with five doubles and three home runs on the young season after starting 5-for-35 (.142) in his first nine games. He has since gone 13-for-25 (.520) in his last six games.

Other notable performances happened for Albuquerque Isotopes center fielder Raimel Tapia, who went 3-for-5 with a double and a triple in the Isotopes 11-9 loss to the Salt Lake Bees.
