Colorado Rockies pitcher Chad Bettis is nearing his return to the Rockies

Chad Bettis is nearing his return to the Rockies after a solid rehab start with Double-A New Britain.

Chad Bettis, who has been sidelined since July 19th with elbow inflammation, threw 3 1/3 scoreless innings for Double-A New Britain on Saturday night. Bettis allowed just two hits and two walks while striking out four. The Rockies will likely see Bettis back within the upcoming weeks.

The only part of that headline that matters is the first four words. Jon Gray continued to look good in his time with the Rockies, throwing five solid innings while allowing just one run.
