There will be plenty of rules changes in Major League Baseball in 2020 but some were not previously reported so let’s take a look at all of the changes.
Three-Batter Minimum
This is one of the rules that has been reported on and by the reactions of most fans, it seems to be a mixed bag.
All pitchers must face a minimum of three batters, including the batter then at bat (or any substitute batter). The exceptions are when an inning is completed, a pitcher sustains an injury or illness in which, in the judgment of the umpire crew chief’s, incapacitates him from continuing on in the game.
