On Thursday, the Colorado Rockies took the first step toward improving their league-worst bullpen from 2016 by signing free agent left-handed reliever Mike Dunn to a three year deal. One thing that came out of the press conference was how Dunn has actually been hoping to play in Denver for quite some time. Not just because he grew up in Farmington, New Mexico, where he makes his offseason home, but he, too, sees the Rockies as a team on the rise.
