Colorado Rockies injury update: Chris Rusin, Tony Wolters, Wade Davis

Catcher Tony Wolters was a late scratch from the Colorado Rockies lineup on Tuesday night after suffering a right hand contusion during an at-bat in Monday’s game against the Diamondbacks. Wolters remained out of the lineup again on Wednesday, with Chris Iannetta once again taking his place behind the dish.

“He’s still sore,” Black said of Wolters. “He’s going through some treatment. The swelling is down. He’s truly day to day. He’s feeling much better and confident of a near return, maybe even possibly tonight if we need him.”

Closer Wade Davis was placed on the 10-day injured list on May 22 with a left oblique strain.
