New Britain's hot hitting shortstop looks to be gearing up for another fast tracked season through the farm.
That someday may come sooner rather than later. Trevor Story has been one of the most pleasant surprises this year so far for the Rockies organization. Story had a wildly successful spring training and has brought that spark with him to New Britain. Darin Everston, Rock Cats general manager, sees a major league future for the 22 year old Story, and one that may not be far off. Story played for Tri-City, Modesto and Tulsa last year, as well as the Arizona Fall League.
