The Rockies have recalled Kyle Parker from Triple-A Albuquerque in place of Corey Dickerson who hit the disabled list with a rib injury. Parker, who turns 26 next month, was called up three times last year, but only had 26 at-bats. For whatever reason, Walt Weiss thought it was more important to play his veterans in the final month of 2014. Parker has put up solid numbers in Triple-A this year, hitting .280 with nine home runs and 58 RBI. Depending on how long Dickerson is out, Kyle Parker should get a solid workload to show that deserves to stay in the big leagues.
