We’re back, baby!
Fresh out of the All-Star Break, the Colorado Rockies look to start the season’s second half on the right foot as they play host to the visiting Minnesota Twins for a three-game set that kicks off Friday evening.
Leading the way for the Rox will be Kyle Freeland (1-10, 5.44 ERA). After suffering a brutal start to the 2025 season, he seems to be settling in somewhat as he was one out away from recording consecutive quality starts in his last outing. Freeland has allowed three or fewer runs in five of his last six starts, which isn’t spectacular or anything, but is a sign that the fan-favorite Colorado native is turning a corner on what’s been a tough campaign.
