It seems almost unfathomable, but the Colorado Rockies (17-57) are on the cusp of securing a four-game sweep of the Washington Nationals (30-44) and extending their win streak to five games. Hitting and pitching has been solid in the series and they’ll look to keep it rolling on Thursday.
Chase Dollander (2-7, 6.57 ERA) will take the hill for the Rockies and is still trying to put it all together at the major league level. Since returning from the injured list, Dollander has a 7.50 ERA in 12 innings of work, as he has been unable to limit damage throughout the season.
