After a frankly brutal series in San Diego, the Rockies return to the 303 to take on the similarly-maligned Arizona Diamondbacks. Both teams are on five-game losing streaks, but one will return to the win column tonight.
Seth Frankoff (0-0, 3.86 ERA) will start for the snakes. Making his second start of the season, Frankoff started this past Saturday against the Nationals and allowed three hits, four walks, and two earned runs while striking out four in 4 2⁄3 innings. His start against the Rockies on Friday will be just the fifth appearance of his career, and he’ll be in for a tough assignment at altitude.
