The Colorado Rockies (7-37) have not had a great week during the road trip. Having lost four straight games, the team was shut out 8-0 by the Arizona Diamondbacks (24-21) on Friday. They managed just two hits against former Cy Young winner Corbin Burnes and have another tough battle on Saturday.
While the offense needs to figure things out, there is some hope in the fact that the last time the Rockies won, Germán Márquez (1-6, 8.27 ERA) was on the mound. It’s been a rough year for the former All-Star, but the hope is that his last start was a turning point.
