30 years ago, the Colorado Rockies played their first game at 20th and Blake, capping off a marathon victory with a Dante Bichette walk-off home run. That team eventually went on to earn a playoff appearance as the first-ever Wild Card team in the National League.
It will be a day of celebrating the history of Coors Field as a one of the prestige ball parks in baseball.
Hopefully, the current team on the field can put their best foot forward for the occasion.
The Rockies (4-21) have seen their offense improve slightly over their last handful of games.
