The Colorado Rockies have yet to win consecutive ballgames or a series so far in the 2024 campaign. Now the 12-12 San Diego Padres are coming to town for the first time this season as just the second National League West team the Rockies have faced. Last season the Rockies were 4-9 against the Padres with 50 total runs scored against them, third most of any team they faced.
Making his fifth start of the season for the Rockies is the left-handed Austin Gomber. Gomber has been fairly solid since a bumpy season debut back in March.
