After last night’s four hour blowout, the Rockies have an opportunity to win another road series. It would be just their second road series win after earning their first just before the All-Star break in San Diego. To get the job done, the offense will need to replicate just some of the firepower they showed yesterday.
Chi Chi González was scheduled to start tonights game but was placed on MLB’s COVID protocols list. So instead, left handed rookie Lucas Gilbreath (0-1, 6.27 ERA) will make his first major league career start. The Rockies will hope Gilbreath can get through just two innings.
