For the Arizona Fall League, the Colorado Rockies sent three players to play there and two of them (Yency Almonte and James Farris) played well enough to earn spots on the All-Star roster for the league.
Yency Almonte
Almonte, a reliever for the Salt River Rafters, has a 6.23 ERA in 8.2 innings pitched. He hasn’t allowed a home run while striking out nine. However, an area he needs to improve on is his walks. In only 8.2 innings, he has allowed seven base on balls.
Almonte played the 2017 season with the Hartford Yard Goats, the Rockies Double A affiliate, and the Albuquerque Isotopes.
