Charlie Blackmon makes first defensive start of spring, records two hits as White Sox beat Rockies

On the mound: Right-handed prospect Noah Davis surrendered three runs in three innings, on three hits, a walk and a strikeout. Chicago shortstop Leury Garcia tagged him for a two-run homer in the second inning. Right-handed reliever Pierce Johnson yielded a run on two hits and a walk in the fourth, and right-hander Jeff Criswell ultimately took the loss after allowing two earned over five outs of work late in the game.

At the plate: Both Charlie Blackmon and Michael Toglia, who is vying for an Opening Day roster spot, were 2-for-3 with an RBI.
