Charlie Blackmon hit again by dehydration; Tyler Anderson to rehab for Rockies return; Jeff Hoffman struggles

ATLANTA — Charlie Blackmon saw the video, the footage of him nearly swinging out of his shoes, then tumbling into the dirt and grabbing his leg. But he won’t apologize for it.

“It looked bad,” he said. “But I’m trying to swing hard. That’s what I do. I swing the bat hard.”

The Rockies’ all-star center fielder left Friday night’s game mid-at bat in the eighth inning with a left hamstring cramp. Blackmon said the cramp was caused by dehydration, the same ailment that cause him to leave a game on July 19 in Denver.
