The Rockies return home after a very successful road trip where they went 7-3 to face a St. Louis Cardinals team that has struggled as of late but appears to be improving.
The return to Coors Field also presents another challenge as the Denver metro area, as well as almost all of northern Colorado is slated to be under the gun for the potential for severe weather. The Rockies haven’t been slighted at all this season when it comes to rain and snow impacting games. They’ve already had to play two doubleheaders due to rainouts and have had 3 games delayed at Coors field due to thunderstorms.
