Arenado slugs way to 100 RBIs with 2-run HR

DENVER -- D-backs outfielder A.J. Pollock lost track of Nolan Arenado's first-inning fly ball, but it didn't matter by the time it landed.

Arenado's two-run homer, his 33rd of the season, touched down in the center-field trees and pushed him up to a National League-best 100 RBIs. In doing so, he became the first Rockies player with a triple-digit RBI season since Troy Tulowitzki had 105 in 2011.

Arenado, who has homered in three straight games, also became the first Rockies third baseman with a 100-RBI season since Garrett Atkins in 2007.
