Antonio Senzatela threw a seven-inning gem, C.J. Cron added another chapter to his memorable August and the Rockies humbled the Dodgers, 5-0, on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles.
The satisfying victory clinched a rare, three-game series win for Colorado at Dodger Stadium where the Rockies had lost 18 of their last 23 games entering Sunday’s game.
Senzatela, who’s struggled away from home this season, allowed only two hits, walked one and struck out five en route to his first road win of the season.
The right-hander pitched a perfect game through four innings until Corey Seager spoiled the party with a leadoff single in the fifth.
