The Colorado Rapids yesterday held their first press conference and official interview with new goalkeeper Tim Howard at Dick's Sporting Goods Park and from the moment it kicked off, it was clear that this was different. When the Rapids introduced players in the past it was either a closed door session or a mere footnote in an article announcing the move.
But not this time.
And not with Tim Howard.
As I wrote yesterday, Howard represents the biggest signing in club history. For reasons on and off the pitch, this is massive.
