I should start by saying I was only able to watch the last 15 minutes of last night’s game between the Colorado Rapids and Los Angeles Galaxy (thanks Altitude) but when I finally got a stream to work, I tuned in just in time to see Cole Bassett put the ‘Pids on the scoreboard in the 79th minute.
This was Bassett’s first game after getting called up to the U-20s and bagging a couple of goals for the national team.
A few minutes later in the 82nd minute, LA ran up the other side of the pitch and unfortunately got the equalizer.
