Ahead of next Tuesday’s trip to CenturyLink Field for the first leg of the Western Conference Championship against Seattle Sounders FC (8:00 p.m. MT), here are 10 things that you may, or may not, have known.
1. This match will be the latest that the Rapids have ever played a game in MLS. It comes a day later than the 2010 MLS Cup, which was held on November 21 of that year.
2. Seattle Sounders FC have never reached MLS Cup. The closest they have come has been two losses to LA Galaxy at this same stage, in 2012 and 2014.
