The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced today that they have acquired Cesar Romero (full name César Miguel Romero Moncada) on loan from F.C. Motagua of the Liga Nacional, Honduras’ top division.
The 20-year-old comes on loan from a dominant F.C. Motagua, who have won the Liga Nacional 4 of the past 5 seasons. He also has starred in the Honduran U20 team and is expected to play in the upcoming U20 World Cup in May this year in Poland.
A dominant striker has been one of the teams shakiest needs for the past several years, and the team hopes Romero is the one to fill that role.
