The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC revealed the re-signing of midfielder Jordan Schweitzer at a fan event at Jack Quinn’s Irish Pub Thursday night.
The 24-year-old Schweitzer started his career in the Seattle Sounders’ system playing with their U23 team and Sounders 2 from 2013-2016. After a one-year stint with Orlando City B, he joined the Switchbacks in 2017. Schweitzer also had four appearances for the Canadian U23 team in 2017.
Schweitzer was a three-time All-Summit League First Team selection at the University of Denver, starting 70 of his 73 appearances across four collegiate seasons from 2012 to 2015.
