We may not have seen Stefan Aigner on the pitch for as much as we would have liked last season, but the German midfielder is doing whatever it takes to get ready for 2018—including training with Bundesliga side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
Aigner has played for multiple teams in Germany over the course of his career, so he’s a familiar face around the Bundesliga. Hoffenheim is a first division squad in the middle of their season, so it’s a wonderful opportunity for Aigner to get up to speed (no pun intended).
I am super excited to see Aigner in full form, and perhaps this speaks to the mentality shift since Anthony Hudson was named head coach.
