The San Jose Earthquakes have show the MLS world that they are for real, winning eight out of their last eleven matches, the last of which came at the expense of our Colorado Rapids to the tune of 3-1.
The first goal came thanks to an own goal by the Rapids’ Lalas Abubakar who struggled with a low cross from Cristian Espinoza which shot off the outside of his right foot. Irwin had no chance.
The next two goals by Vako and Shea Salinas showed the significant skill the Quakes have inside the box.
