The Colorado Rapids forced their way back into the Supporters’ Shield discussion with a 1-0 victory over league-leading FC Dallas last weekend.
The win snapped Dallas’ 19 game unbeaten home record dating back to last season and will surely give the Rapids some confidence going into the final stretch of the regular season.
Next up for Pablo Mastroeni’s men is San Jose Earthquakes, a team that sits below the playoff threshold in the Western Conference.
With their own unbeaten home record on the line, Colorado will need to take care of business and avenge the 1-0 opening day loss they suffered at San Jose.
