Colorado Rapids’ U18s will meet Texans SC Houston in California on Friday in the semifinal of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Championships.
The Rapids came from behind in Florida last Friday to shatter Orlando City’s hearts, with Rhys De Sota settling matters two minutes from time in a 2-1 win.
Texans SC Houston needed extra time to decide their fate after finishing the first 90 minutes scoreless against Real So Cal. In the end, Texans SC Houston would find goals in both extra time periods, coming off of Alejandro Alaniz and Jacob Bates, respectively, to punch their tickets to Carson.
