Colorado Rapids are one of 16 clubs set to feature in the Champions Division at next month’s Generation adidas Cup in Frisco, Texas.
They have been drawn in Group C, alongside Atlanta United FC, C.A. River Plate of Argentina and Spanish side Malaga CF.
Their first game is against Malaga on April 7, to be followed by Atlanta (April 9) and then River Plate (April 11). The final group match will be streamed live on ColoradoRapids.com. All streamed matches will also have video review.
The Rapids are one of eight MLS Development Academies involved, with the remaining teams drawn from Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Germany, Mexico and Spain.
