When the Colorado Rapids released their roster update last week, it was noted that they were finalizing negotiations with midfielder Nicolás Mezquida and goalkeeper Andre Rawls. Today, the club announced that they had signed the two players to new contracts.
Colorado Rapids Executive Vice President & General Manager Pádraig Smith said that the club is “delighted to welcome back Nico and Andre. Nico enjoyed a strong and productive first season with us that saw him finish second in the team in assists and tally four goals, while Andre continued to show his quality in goal in training and during his loan spell with the Switchbacks.
