Major League Soccer today announced that ESPN will air an MLS Soccer Sunday doubleheader on October 16 for Week 33, as teams head into the Final Push to the Playoffs. As part of the enhanced broadcast schedule for 2016, the final two weeks of the season feature flex scheduling, allowing ESPN, FS1, and Univision Deportes to select the most compelling games as the Audi 2016 MLS Cup Playoffs landscape takes shape, and matches air in more than 170 countries.
Week 33 will feature an ESPN doubleheader with four-and-half hours of soccer programming, as the network provides fans with live action in-stadium, as well as incorporating live look-ins at the other matches taking place around the league.
