The Colorado Rapids may have won their last three games of the season, but hadn’t performed well after a break so far in 2020. Tonight was no different, as the Burgundy Boys got shut out 3-0 at Allianz Field, losing in Round One of the 2020 MLS Playoffs.
The Rapids came out strong in the first half, maintaining possession and putting some serious pressure on the Loons. Colorado had a couple of good chances, but just couldn’t get on the ball and find the back of the net. Minnesota’s Kevin Molino had an opportunity in the 22nd minute and made it count, putting his side up 1-0.
