Colorado Rapids’ manager Robin Fraser is one of Jonathan Lewis’ champions. During a media call this past October, Fraser said of Lewis, “I think if you’re talking about what his potential value to the national team is, I think anyone who has a winger who can beat people one on one and certainly run in behind and finish, he offers a skill set that most people would be interested in.”
And that interest came during the first week of this new year when Lewis learned from both the United States Men’s Team (USMNT) U-23 manager, Jason Kreis, and senior team coach Greg Berhalter, that he had been invited to join the annual January men’s camp.
