Getting the proverbial monkey off their back was nearly as sweet as the win itself. Unwilling to bow out of the girls soccer 5A playoffs in the semifinals for the third straight season, the Golden Eagles unleashed an impressive three-goal first half offensive onslaught at Sports Authority Stadium to advance to the championship game.
