Diego Rubio was named to the MLS Team of the Week (Week 24) presented by Audi after his stellar performance on August 17 in Houston.
The Chilean striker scored his eighth and ninth goals of the 2019 season to help the Rapids secure a crucial road point. Rubio played a total of 79 minutes, distributed 20 passes and made nine defensive actions (tackles, interceptions, clearances and recoveries).
The Rapids return to action this Saturday when they travel to Rio Tinto Stadium to face Real Salt Lake in the second leg of the Rocky Mountain Cup.
