Major League Soccer announced the 2021 regular-season schedule on Wednesday. Each club will have 17 home games and 17 away games, and the Colorado Rapids are heading to Rio Tinto three times this year.
On May 2, they will be facing the Vancouver Whitecaps in Sandy, Utah, and then the Burgundy Boys will play Real Salt Lake on July 24 and October 16. (The Canadian clubs are staying/playing in the U.S. due to COVID-19 border and quarantine rules.) If you recall, the last time the Rapids played in Utah, they destroyed their Rocky Mountain Cup rivals 5-0.
