Tonight we welcome Sporting Kansas City to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park for match number 19 of the season (TICKETS), presented by Shane Co. You may recall that it was against this side back on April 13 that the Rapids began their unbeaten streak which now stands at a club record 13 games.
During that 13-game run we have gone 7-0-6, collecting 27 of our current 34 points, enough for second place in the Western Conference standings. Over the course of the past three months, indeed over the course of the season so far, this Rapids side has shown that they fully deserve to be among the contenders.
